granted minority status.
K.P.B.Hinduja College of Commerce was founded in 1974 by late
Shri Parmanad Deepchand Hinduja who was a harmonious blend of
philanthropy and mercantile activities. He believed in setting
aside a portion of the profits from his business for charitable
activities, especially m the field of education and healthcare
which he considered to be fundamental right of every human
being. The College is permanently affiliated to the University
AC-Nielsen-ORG-MARG, The Country's Premier Polling Agency
Ranked 1st amongst the Commerce Colleges in Mumbai and 11th
amongst Commerce College in all over India Today JUNE4/2007.

The college teaches all subjects of commerce like Book keeping &

Unaided Section : SP-Hindi division (4.50 p.m. to 9.00 p.m.)
2. Students who seek admission to the Junior college must have
passed the S.S.C. examination in Maharashtra.
Other students who have passed I.C.S.E., Central Board or any
other equivalent examination must produce an eligibility
certificate from the H.S.C. Board, Greater Mumbai for
consideration of admission.
New entrants to SYJC from other colleges have to pay admission,
caution and library deposit fees.
Original fee receipts must be carefully preserved and submitted
to the office at the time of submission of application for
refund of caution fee and library deposit.
